Bellevue University to require 'soft skills' for students: strong communication, problem-solving

Bellevue University's graduates are leaving with plenty of job skills, its president says, but not enough soft skills.
Employers are telling Bellevue's president, Mary Hawkins, that new hires have a good grasp on the facts and theories in their chosen fields, but what they often lack are strong communication and problem-solving skills and creativity for the work.
