American Cowboy magazine names Nebraska county one of its best places to live

Custer County has been named one of the best places to live in the U.S. by the American Cowboy magazine. The article appears in the April and May edition.
Among the county's attributes, the magazine lists the fertile valleys and canyons, ample hunting opportunities, nature attractions and what it describes as "one of the finest equine facilities in Nebraska."
