The owner of an Omaha thrift store that was heavily damaged in a car crash said he was unable to recover any of the property inside the building before demolition began Saturday.
Scott Goff, owner of the New 2 You store, said the building at 4201 Leavenworth St. was not stable enough to allow anyone inside. Security was set up to prevent anyone from entering, Goff said.
