A nine-day event celebrating Lincoln’s startup scene is coming up next month.

The second annual Startup Week and Weekend is September 5-13 and aims to bring together developers, designers, marketers, product managers and startup enthusiasts to share ideas, form teams, build projects and ultimately launch startups.

A grassroots effort led by the Kauffman Foundation, the event will kick off with an opening party at the Champions Club on September 5 and formally begins on September 6 with the forming of teams and development of business plans. Final presentations will take place September 8 and will follow with five days of events like startup olympics and a tech crawl.
