Walmart hiring 180 for Omaha Neighborhood Markets

Attention job hunters: Walmart, which is opening two new Walmart Neighborhood Markets this summer 168th and Harrison streets and 50th and L streets, has 180 job full-time and part-time job openings.

Open positions include pharmacy technicians, bakery and deli associates, customer service representatives, managers, cashiers and overnight stockers.

New hires should be able to start work in June to prepare the stores for a late summer opening.

Walmart has opened a temporary hiring center at 11811 I Street in Omaha. Applications will be accepted from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to noon Saturdays. To apply, visit the center or fill out an application online at

Walmart provides eligible full-time and part-time workers with benefits including health-care coverage with no lifetime maximum. The retailer also offers eligible employees matching 401(k) contributions, discounts on general merchandise, a quarterly incentive based on store performance and other benefits.
