If your New Year's resolution involves starting a business, you can learn about SBA loans at an upcoming event.

The SBA is offering loans up to $150,000 with no up-front fees for a limited time, said Michael Foutch, SBA spokesman in Omaha. Veterans can get a loan up to $350,000 with no up-front fees.

Learn more at a meeting from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22, at the SBA offices at 10675 Bedford Ave., Suite 100.

The seminar will address what banks look for in a successful loan application.
