Loyalty marketing company Front Flip has added two local business executives, Peter Brown and Gary Fish, to its board of directors. The Leawood, Kan.-based startup announced the additions March 26, two months after Brown and Fish participated in Front Flip's $3.7 million Series B round.
Brown (below, near right) is the former chair, CEO and president of AMC Entertainment, where he more than doubled revenues from $1 billion to $2.3 billion during his tenure, according to last week's press release. He's currently the founder and chairman of Kansas City-based private investment firm Grassmere Partners. Fish (below, far right) is the founder, president and CEO of FishNet Security, a company that bills itself as the largest independently owned information security provider in the U.S.
As Front Flip continues to expand its client portfolio, the two will help direct its go-to-market strategy and provide guidance on the company's product enhancements.
"Having spent a good part of my career focused on maximizing the guest experience and boosting loyalty, I saw immediate value in the Front Flip platform," Brown said in the press release. "Front Flip delivers what businesses truly want—a loyalty program that’s exciting for customers but also profitable for the business."
Front Flip's mobile app and loyalty marketing program aims to help businesses "increase visit frequency, boost sales and generate social buzz," according to the release.
The two executives join Jon Darbyshire, executive chairman of the Archer Foundation, Front Flip's largest investor; chairman Sean Beckner, founder and CEO of Front Flip; and Matt Beckner, founder and chief product officer of Front Flip, on the company's board.
