Core Bank -- the new institution created earlier this year in a combination of Centennial Bank and Omaha State Bank -- is rolling out its new logo around town. This photo shows the former Omaha State Bank near 120th Street and West Center Road. Crews came about three weeks ago to change out the sign.

Russell Hubbard reported in May: The combination will create an Omaha-based bank with nine branches and $352 million in assets. The bank would be majority-owned by the children of Omaha businessman Walter Scott Jr., philanthropist and chairman emeritus of Peter Kiewit Sons' Inc.

Core Bank also launched a website with a hip, non-traditional design, at least for the banking industry. It feels like it might have a link to a craft cocktail menu.
