Redeveloped Omar bakery building hosts open house

The former Omar Bread Baking Co. is opening its doors to the public for a peek around the newly renovated space.

The preview event will be 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 28. Complimentary appetizers and beverages will be provided.

Built in 1923 as a commercial bakery, the building near 43rd and Nicholas Streets is now home to small and large studio space, office use, a fitness center and a special events space. The building has room for additional tenants.
