Goodwill, along with Heartland Workforce Solutions and the American Job Center, plans an all-industry job fair from noon to 4 p.m. Thursday at the Goodwill headquarters, 4805 N. 72nd St. in Omaha.

It's been over a year since Goodwill had an Omaha job fair that spanned all industries, business outreach specialist Megan Sharpe said.

“It's very diverse,” she said. “It's going to go from entry-level to full-time professional.”

More than 20 employers are expected, with jobs in health care, welding, trucking and customer service. Companies expected to attend include West Corp., First Data, Alegent Creighton Health, Nebraska Furniture Mart, Physicians Mutual, Hayneedle and Gallup.

Sharpe said all the employers that will attend are actively hiring. She encouraged job seekers to fill out applications with the companies ahead of time so they can be more prepared for interviews.

During the fair, job seekers also will be able to participate in resume coaching and mock interviews.
