Sam’s Club will break ground on its new Papillion store at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14.

We reported in October that the 136,000-square-foot store is expected to open this fall, joining Hobby Lobby and Walgreens in the Settlers Creek commercial development at 72nd Street and Cornhusker Road.

Sarpy County Chamber officials and Papillion Mayor David Black will be in attendance, Papillion spokesman Darren Carlson said.

The store will include a fueling station for members, a pharmacy open to the public, a photo center and “Click ‘n’ Pull” service, which allows members to submit orders online and pick them up at the store.
