A much-anticipated hotel at Midlands Place will be coming soon to Papillion.

A 110-room Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott will be built near 84th Street and Highway 370, developer Russ Daub announced Tuesday.

The hotel will be built by KAJ Hospitality of Sioux Falls, S.D., vice president and chief financial officer Aaron Johnson said in a press release.

“We believe that Papillion is a great place for us to invest $10 million,” Johnson said.

Midlands Place developer Russ Daub said in a press release that he was excited to make the announcement.

“We have been studying which hotel would be the best selection for this location and are confident that a Fairfield Inn & Suites is perfect,” Daub said.

Mayor David Black thanked KAJ Hospitality for making the investment.

“With all of our community growth, a quality hotel became an obvious need and priority,” Black said. “This is a critical location along the Highway 370 corridor and will provide service to all of central Sarpy County and the southern portion of the metro area.”
