New Omaha-based clothing brand to host kickoff party

Legalized Rebellion, a men’s and women’s apparel line based in Omaha, goes live Friday with the launch of its e-commerce website,

To celebrate, the brand will hold a party Friday at the House of Loom, 1012 S. 10th St. The $10 event starts at 8 p.m. and features a fashion show of the brand’s fall line and a live performance by Sophia. sells not only “men’s and women’s urban street wear” but also vintage clothing and revamped vintage clothing, said Brittney Rose, who co-founded the business with Samone Davis.

Rose, 23, the brand’s creative director, and designer Davis, 23, met in middle school. The pair began working on their clothing line about two years ago, Rose said.

“What sets Legalized Rebellion apart ... is having three different products to sell,” Rose said. “Our line is both for men and women. We sell vintage clothes, and high-end, hard-to-find pieces.”
