The Omaha-based HDR has launched a "refreshed" brand identity.

The update of the company logo and branding materials, officials say, reflects expanding global presence as well as the company's core values.

Chairman and CEO George A. Little said that in the last decade alone, HDR has hired thousands of employees and made 43 acquisitions worldwide.

"We're still the same successful company with the same values. We're simply making sure we speak with one voice, which can take us into the next hundred years as we strengthen our global presence."

With 8,500 employees in more than 200 locations around the world, the firm that provides architectural, engineering and related services says in its materials that officials "think global and act local."
