Pipeline Inc., the regional nonprofit network for entrepreneurs, is hosting a free networking event on Sept. 12 for anyone in the entrepreneurial community.

Held at the Mastercraft building in north downtown from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., the event will feature speakers Paul Lee, a partner with Chicago venture capital firm Lightbank; Laura Kilcrease, founder and managing director of Austin, Texas, venture capital fund Triton Ventures, LLC; and Ben Vu, co-founder and CEO of SkyVu, an Omaha-based transmedia entertainment company that creates mobile social games and licensed consumer products including Battle Bears.

To attend, people must RSVP here.

Pipeline, based in Kansas City, Kan., is also still seeking applications for its 2014 fellowship class. During the Sept. 12 event, interested applicants can meet Pipeline leadership, partners, advisors and guests and ask questions of past members, who include several Nebraskans.
