National Research Corp. profit, revenue up

National Research Corp. said Tuesday that first-quarter profit rose 16 percent, to $4.5 million, or 64 cents a share.

The Lincoln-based company, which provides hospitals with analytical and compliance tools and patient satisfaction surveys, said revenue rose 11 percent to $24.9 million.

“Overall net new sales for the quarter grew by 17 percent over the same quarter last year and contract value ended the quarter at $96.4 million, establishing a very solid start for the year,” Chief Financial Officer Kevin Karas said in a statement.

National Research employs about 350 people.
