Marquis Place assisted living acquired for $6.6 million

Marquis Place, 20800 W. Maple Road in Elkhorn, was purchased by Dallas-based Capital Senior Living Inc., operator of senior living communities. Capital Senior Living paid $6.6 million, according to its annual report filed March 8 with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The facility's executive director, Summer Sargent, will stay on in the role.

Marquis Place opened 11 years ago and has 66 assisted living and memory care apartments.

Capital Senior Living owns and operates six other properties in Nebraska: Crown Pointe Retirement, The Waterford at Miracle Hills Assisted Living and The Waterford at Roxbury Park Assisted Living, all in Omaha, The Waterford at Woodbridge Assisted Living in Plattsmouth, and Gramercy Hill Independent and Assisted Living and Windcrest on Van Dorn Assisted Living in Lincoln.
