Lincoln store to mark Licorice Day

This probably isn’t on your calendar, but according to the Licorice International store in Lincoln, Saturday is National Licorice Day.

Licorice International, at 803 Q St. in Lincoln, plans to celebrate the event today and Saturday with coffee, treats, discounts and prizes from 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. today, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.

The store offers more than 160 types of licorice from 14 countries, including sweet, salty and sugar-free varieties.
