HDR Engineering acquires transportation consulting firm

Omaha-based HDR Engineering has acquired Sharon Greene + Associates, a firm that specializes in transportation economics and financial analysis and has offices in California and Denver.

Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. HDR and the Sharon Greene firm are to operate as a strategic consulting organization, offering financial planning and advice about public-private partnerships.

Said Eric Keen, president of HDR Engineering: “Their unique skill set is applicable to a wide variety of fields where HDR is an industry leader, and we are excited about the services and expertise we can offer to our mutual clients.”

HDR and its more than 8,000 professionals worldwide provide architecture, engineering and construction-related services. Sharon Greene focuses on surface transport highways, urban transit, and intercity high speed rail.
