The owner of an Omaha grocery delivery service is offering one free delivery trip to customers who vote in the April 2 primary election.

Eric Barrett, a founder of, said customers who enter the promotion code “Vote2013” during checkout, and then show their voting sticker when their order is delivered, will have the standard next-day delivery fee ($4.99) waived on their next order.

“Since they went through the trouble of fighting traffic, looking for parking, and standing in line to vote, I thought I would relieve them of the same experience when they go grocery shopping,” Barrett said.

Same-day delivery costs $9.99 and is not part of the offer.
