Free training seminar for caregivers Wednesday

Synergy HomeCare of Omaha and ALS in the Heartland are co-sponsoring a free training seminar for non-medical caregivers from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20.

The event is at ALS in the Heartland’s office at 1320 S. 119th St. in Omaha.

The seminar includes presentations from community experts on how to provide care for people with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), Parkinson’s disease, and Multiple Sclerosis, as well as those who have suffered a stroke.

The seminar is designed to improve the quality of care provided by caregivers in the Omaha Metro and surrounding communities.

Family caregivers are also welcome to attend. More information is available here.
