Sean O'Casey's Bar at 107th and Q Streets will be demolished to make way for a Dunkin' Donuts, said bar owner Douglas Frohner, who leased the location and told customers on his website about the impending demolition.

The property is now owned by Galaxy Ventures II LLC, a company registered in Nebraska to Bryce Bares of QSR Services, which owns the Dunkin' Donuts franchise rights in the Omaha area south of Interstate 80.

Bares said he could not comment on the location, but said the Dunkin' Donuts he owns at 72nd Street and Cornhusker Road in Papillion “should be opening very soon.”

Sean O'Casey's closed at the 107th and Q Streets location April 19. It will re-open in three to four weeks at its new space at 2523 South 140th Ave., formerly Prima 140 and then the Baja Grill, Frohner said.

Frohner said he is happy with the move.

“We'll come out better,” Frohner said.
