Getting panned by an anonymous reviewer can be a tough experience for a small business, given that 85 percent of consumers read online reviews about local businesses, according to a 2013 survey from small-business web consultancy BrightLocal.

Accordingly, the U.S. Small Business Administration and Yelp have partnered to give business owners some tips on how to respond to web reviews. The SBA will host two hour-long webinars featuring real-world examples of businesses that have built strong online reputations through these and other practices.

Registration is available online. The first webinar is Feb. 11 at 1 p.m. Central time. The second webinar will be Feb. 25 at 1 p.m.
