Buffalo Wings & Rings will open a restaurant in the Lincoln Haymarket this fall.

It will be inside the Haymarket’s new entertainment district, “The Railyard,” which will feature a common space that can host live music and events.

The Lincoln location will be unique for the chain, often found in strip centers and mall properties, said the company’s director of franchise development Daniel Doulen.

“Being part of a redevelopment such as this will be a little different for us,” Doulen said.

Doulen said the restaurant was drawn to the area because it’s a popular spot for sports fans and families.

“Lincoln seems to have a large, small-town feeling,” he said.

Buffalo Wings & Rings has one location in Omaha at 120th and L Streets. The chain has about 45 restaurants nationwide offering buffalo wings, onion rings, burgers, salads and other items.
