Brakes Plus has two new stores planned for the Omaha area.

One location, currently under construction and expected to open in March, is just south of Dunkin' Donuts at 72nd Street and Cornhusker Road in Papillion, Brakes Plus President Dean Pisciotta said.

Construction will begin on another near Menards at 120th Street and West Dodge Road in March, with an expected opening in July.

"We're on a pretty good expansion plan in Omaha," Pisciotta said, adding that the market was attractive to the company because it's similar to Denver. (The company is headquartered in Centennial, Colo., a suburb of Denver.) The Omaha area, he said, has “a young population that are out and about using their cars and needing them maintained."

Brakes Plus has five locations in Omaha already and one in Lincoln that opened in October. The stores offer full-service auto repair with the exception of tire services.
