Aurora manufacturer plans 40th-anniversary open house

An Aurora manufacturer is celebrating 40 years of business.

International Sensor Systems Inc., or ISSI, makes custom-built electronic circuit assemblies for the medical, military and high-end industrial marketplaces. It was founded in 1973 by Giltner native Clifford Williams.

To celebrate, the company will host a public open house from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 2 with tours of the facility and manufacturing demonstrations. ISSI is located at 103 Grant St. in Aurora.
