Radio stations in Fremont and Blair, Neb., are changing hands again, this time being purchased by Walnut Radio LLC, an affiliate of Walnut Private Equity Partners, for an undisclosed amount.

Omaha attorney Steve Seline, president and CEO of Walnut Radio and founder of its parent company, said Tuesday that the company is applying with the Federal Communications Commission to transfer the licenses of KHUB and KFMT in Fremont and KBLR in Blair.

Previous owners include Mitchell Broadcasting, Waitt Media, NRG Media and Community First Media. The owner since last summer has been R&R Broadcasting, which also owns radio stations in Fairbury and Beatrice, Neb., said Chris Walz, the stations’ general manager.

Seline is former vice chairman of Waitt Media. His brother, Rex Seline, a former newspaper editor and communications consultant from Fort Worth, Texas, will serve as a consultant with the stations. He is Walnut Private Equity’s research director and managing director for Texas.
