Cobweb Castle, Omaha Children's Museum's Not-So-Scary Haunted House, 500 S. 20th St. Open through Oct. 31 during regular museum hours and free with regular admission. Information: www.ocm.org and 402-342-6164.

Deadly Intentions Haunted Forest, Highway 59 at 290th Street, 8 miles south of Shenandoah, Iowa. One of the oldest haunts in the area. Open every night through Oct. 31. Hours: Sunday through Thursday 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday 6 p.m. to midnight. Admission: $8 adults, $5 adults, proceeds go to charity.

Gateway of Chaos, 1605 Main Street, Malvern, Iowa. Haunted house. Open Friday and Saturday 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. The haunted house will open at 7 p.m. for no-scare time on Oct. 25 and Oct. 26. Admission for this is $5. Regular admission: $9 general admission or $7 with two cans of food; fast pass tickets are $15. Information: gatewayofchaos.com.

Haunted Hollow, 120th Street and Old Giles Road, La Vista. Three-story haunted house, bridge, maze, hearse show, Island of the Dolls, redneck roller coaster and more. Sunday through Thursday, 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 7 p.m. to midnight. Admission: $20. Information: www.hauntedhollowomaha.com and 402-896-1920.

Mystery Manor, 716 N. 18th St. Haunted house. Admission: $12 or $20 for front-of-the-line access. Hours: Sunday through Thursday dusk to 10 p.m., Friday dusk through midnight, Saturday dusk through 1 a.m. Information: www.mysterymanoromaha.org.

Nightmare on Q Street, 7003 Q St. Attractions include Raven's Nightmare, Phobia: The Money Back Haunt and Chaos Maze. Admission: Raven's Nightmare, $13; Phobia, $10 to participate or watch; Chaos Maze, $7. Information and schedule: anightmareonqstreet.com.

Ranch of Terror, Bellevue Berry and Pumpkin Ranch, 11001 S. 48th St., Papillion. Haunted hayrack ride and haunted walk. Open through Nov. 2. Hours: 7:30 p.m. to midnight Fridays and Saturdays; 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday. Admission: $10 hayrack or ranch of terror, $18 combo ticket for both. Information: ranchofterror.com or bellevueberryfarm.com.

Scary Acres, 17272 Giles Road. The Haunted Woods ($8), House on the Hill ($10), The Master's Castle ($11). All three attractions, $25. 7 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Sundays. Information: www.scaryacres.com.

The Shadow's Edge, 3457 S. 84th St. (Mangelsen's parking lot). Open through Oct. 31. Hours: Sunday through Thursday dusk to 10 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays dusk to 12:30 a.m. Admission: $11, $6 on Mondays. Information: theshadowsedge.com.
