Omaha Public Library wants to help readers find new books — or at least books new to them. Every month in this space, library employees will recommend reading based on different writing genres or styles.

Spring is here and as we look ahead to warmer weather, it's time to start planning for spring planting. The Omaha Public Library offers a wide variety of resources for gardeners of all levels. Check out seeds from the Common Soil Seed Library, attend a workshop about planting or seed saving, or check out one of the library's many gardening books. Find these books and more at omahalibrary.org or your local branch.
