Growing up, I spent a lot of time making all sorts of jewelry for friends, family and myself. I'd buy cheap toothbrushes, throw them in boiling hot water and bend them into bracelets. And if you were born and raised in the latter part of the past century (like me), you definitely remember making gimp bracelets.

Now that I've grown up and have to look like a halfway normal human, toothbrushes and plastic gimp bracelets are out. But friendship bracelets are back on trend in a big way. Dust off your old embroidery thread and hemp and get ready to make some neat new jewelry for you and your friends.
