Move over, chocolate bunny. We need to make room for toys in those Easter baskets.
The marketing of the holiday has ramped up. Overall there's been an increase in the number of consumer products available for Easter and other holidays such as Thanksgiving and Halloween, said A. Dwayne Ball, chairman of the marketing department at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
