Arts news & notes: 'Failing Forward' kicks off 3-part series

“Failing Forward Conversations,” a three-part series in which speakers will share honest observations about the failures they have experienced and redemptive lessons learned, will begin Thursday at Kaneko, 1111 Jones St.

The 6:30 p.m. presentation is sponsored by Kaneko in partnership with the Omaha Chamber of Commerce. Among Thursday's speakers is Marcus Nelson, founder and CEO of Addvocate, a San Francisco company that simplifies and systemizes tracking the social voices of a business, fostering collaboration and trust between employer and employee.
