Santa Monica, Calif. — The No. 9 Nebraska sand volleyball team earned its third straight win Thursday, edging No. 7 UCLA 3-2 at the Annenburg Community Beach House in Santa Monica, Calif.
Nebraska’s No. 1 duo of Kelsey Robinson and Alexa Strange started the afternoon with a win for the Huskers, beating Meg Norton and Kelly Reeves 21-15, 21-16. Hayley Thramer and Amber Rolfzen fell to Zoe Nightingale and Becca Strehlow 21-17, 21-19.
