NU’s Laudermill finds her range
NU’s Tear’a Laudermill shoots over Fresno State’s Robin Draper, left, and Taylor Thompson. Laudermill was 1 of 9 from the field in the first half, but she hit three key 3-pointers in the final 12 minutes. “For somebody who’s off to hear ‘keep shooting,’ that just boosts up my confidence more,” she said. “Everybody had faith in me.”

LOS ANGELES — Tear’a Laudermill had more than 60 family members and friends at Saturday’s game against Fresno State, so when it came time for a Husker fan and a Bulldog fan to square off in an on-court shoot-off, it was decent bet that one of Laudermill’s relatives would be doing the honors.
Sure enough, Laudermill’s dad, Theron, represented Nebraska. Tear’a looked over and saw him shooting — and missing.
