Coach Bo Pelini liked the way Tommy Armstrong ran the offense in Saturday's scrimmage. “He didn't try and force anything that wasn't there.”

LINCOLN — Nebraska coach Bo Pelini said Saturday little has changed with coordinator Tim Beck's offense this spring. Mostly, it's simpler terminology, Pelini said.
“The beautiful thing about what we're doing is it tailors to any quarterback,” Pelini said. “It doesn't really matter who you get in here. It's multiple enough and has enough versatility that, no matter what your quarterback's strengths are, or perceived strengths are, he can function in this offense and make it work.”
