Lohman paces Huskers to 16 wins at Nebraska Invitational

LINCOLN — Will Lohman broke the school record in the hammer throw to highlight the host Huskers’ 16 wins Saturday at the Nebraska Invitational at Ed Weir Stadium.

UNO’s top performer was Kathie-Lee Laidley, who won the high jump (5-83⁄4) and long jump (19-111⁄2). Sami Spenner (200 meters) and Katarina Zarudnaya (800) picked up second-place finishes for the Mavs, who will finish their season at the Summit League championships next Thursday through Saturday.
