Jordan Hooper, Connie Yori get tops honors from Big Ten
Jordan Hooper was named the Big Ten Player of the Year by league coaches after the Nebraska senior averaged 20.3 points and 9.1 rebounds this season.

LINCOLN — From the time Alliance star Jordan Hooper stepped on Nebraska's campus, she's always been pretty good at the big things in women's basketball: Scoring and rebounding.
But close followers of Husker hoops — which naturally included her coach, Connie Yori — noticed that, this year, Hooper had begun to master the little pieces of the game. Passing. Moving without the ball. Closing out better on defense.
