LINCOLN — The Nebraska softball team found a fun way to win the first game of its Big Ten series with Iowa, and that helped make the nightcap of the Huskers' doubleheader sweep much more relaxing.
A three-run home run in the bottom of the seventh inning by Tatum Edwards gave the Huskers a 5-2 win in Friday's opener in front of 672 at Bowlin Stadium.
