Huskers stage two comebacks but fall short against BYU

LOS ANGELES — Jordan Hooper wanted two more minutes on the game clock. Two more minutes for the Nebraska women’s basketball team to finish its comeback on Brigham Young in the second round of the NCAA tournament and return to Lincoln’s Pinnacle Bank Arena for the Sweet 16.
Two more minutes for the ranch girl from Alliance — perhaps the best player in school history — to prolong her career a few more days, at least until a tilt with No. 1 Connecticut.
