LINCOLN — Fresno State women's basketball coach Raegan Pebley was in the midst last month of guiding her team through a rough patch of Mountain West Conference play when she noticed a story out of Nebraska.

Husker women's coach Connie Yori had fainted from fatigue on the court during NU's win over Indiana. When she talked to the press about two days later, Pebley read with interest Yori's thoughts about the demands of their profession. Long hours. Little sleep. Good money — but a frayed sense of balance between work and home.
