Huskers catcher Fish more than happy to get feet wet
With an injury to Tanner Lubach, Taylor Fish is front and center as the Huskers’ catcher. The sophomore from Kearney is eager for it. “My family’s been huge Nebraska football and baseball fans since I was born,” he said. “It’s definitely a dream come true.”

LINCOLN — Taylor Fish was the only Nebraska catcher going through footwork drills with his position coach during the early portions of Wednesday’s practice.
No one else besides Fish was back behind the plate, relaying signals to the infielders, as the Huskers worked through possible bunting and pick-off scenarios soon after that.
