LINCOLN — Nebraska is usually the one capitalizing on high-pressure scoring opportunities and storming the field to celebrate late-inning wins.
But Northwestern (9-24, 3-9 Big Ten) produced Friday’s two biggest hits at Haymarket Park, earning a 2-1 victory in 12 innings to snap the Huskers’ winning streak at five.
