LINCOLN — Nebraska bats poured out runs in bunches Sunday and washed away Stanford's chances with a 10-5 win in the finals of the NCAA regional softball tournament at Bowlin Stadium.
Enduring three rain delays lasting nearly 2 1⁄2 hours, the 16th-ranked Huskers came back from a 3-1 deficit with five runs in the fifth inning and four in the sixth to defeat the Cardinal for the second time in as many days.
