LINCOLN — Nebraska spotted Ohio State a run in the top of the first inning Friday, then put on a hitting clinic en route to a 14-1, five-inning rout of the Buckeyes in the opening contest of a three-game Big Ten series.
The victory moved the Huskers to 31-13 (9-4 Big Ten) and gives them a six-game conference winning streak, their longest since 2006.
