Husker hurdler has sprinted to top of charts

LINCOLN — Dapo Akinmoladun clears hurdles and crosses the finish line fast enough to be out of focus to most people's eyes. But it was the world around him that went blurry after winning the Big Ten championship two weeks ago in the 60-meter hurdles.

“After I got done running, I looked at the board and was like, 'What happened?' ” the Nebraska sophomore said. “I didn't know where I was at. Definitely seeing my name up there first was an honor.”
