Nebraska sophomore Sadie Murren has elected to transfer at the end of the spring semester, Husker coach Connie Yori announced Wednesday. A university press release indicates that Murren will likely pursue a playing opportunity at an NAIA or NCAA Division II school so she can participate next season.

“We are sorry to see Sadie go, but at the same time we completely understand her desire to play more,” Yori said in a statement. “Sadie has been a great representative of our program the past two years. She is not only an outstanding shooter, she is an outstanding student and a great young person.”
