Former NU I-back Jones says choosing between college, NFL isn’t easy
Former Nebraska I-back Calvin Jones, running during a 1992 game against Oklahoma, left for the NFL after his junior season in 1993, a year before the Huskers won a national title. He said winning a Super Bowl with the Packers helped him make peace with the decision.

Calvin Jones was never 100 percent sure if he did the right thing, even looking back 20 years later on his decision to leave Nebraska early and declare for the NFL draft.
Two specific moments do stick out to the I-back who could have stayed and possibly made a run at Mike Rozier’s school rushing record.
