Comeback within reach for NU receivers
Taariq Allen helped key Nebraska's comeback victory over Northwestern by catching this fourth-quarter touchdown pass. A week later, the receiver from Weston, Mass., blew out a knee covering the opening kickoff against Michigan. But he was cleared in July to play, shocking position coach Rich Fisher with his quick recovery.

LINCOLN — Taariq Allen made it plain to Nebraska assistant Rich Fisher last fall that he would be up to the challenge of returning from a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.
The sophomore receiver had the answer before Fisher could even ask the question.
