LINCOLN — Nebraska and Iowa's annual Big Ten football game is back on Black Friday for at least two more years, NU athletic director Shawn Eichorst announced Tuesday.
“The Big Ten Conference Administrators Council approved the request for the Nebraska-Iowa Heroes Game to remain on the Friday after Thanksgiving in 2013 and 2014,” Eichorst said. “Playing on the day after Thanksgiving is a great Nebraska football tradition that we look forward to continuing.”
