Indiana held its opponent without an offensive touchdown for the first time in 61 games on Saturday against Bowling Green, thanks in part to 12 tackles by senior safety Greg Heban, a walk-on pitcher for the baseball team who later walked on to play football.

Indiana’s defense, which gave up 41 points a game in Big Ten play last season, started this season allowing 35 to Indiana State and 41 to Navy.
